Nope, it's not a typo!

Fasting is where we connect with Jesus by denying ourselves something for a period of time.

Feasting is where we spend time celebrating the abundance of Jesus.

And starting August 4th, we’re taking 3 weeks as a church to pray and feast!

Join us August 4 - 24 as we create space for God to fill, and pray for our city, nation, families, and homes.

Week 1 Prayer Gatherings:

Saturday, August 4 at 9:00 am,

August 6 - 10 at 6:00 am.

Week 2 Prayer Gatherings:

Saturday, August 11, at 7:30 am

August 13 - 17 at 6:30 pm.

Week 3 Prayer Gatherings:

Saturday, August 18 at 9:00 am,

August 20 - 24 at 6:30 pm.

Prayer Gatherings will be held at Elevation Church, except for August 11,

which will be held at Brennan Woods Elementary School.

Sooo...why are we feasting?

The Bible teaches that God’s chosen people, the Jews, were instructed to celebrate seven different “special days,” or festivals.

But why, you might ask?

The answer is pretty simple: Each celebration was designed to create rhythm in the life of God’s people.

In our culture, we have lost much of this rhythm for various reasons.

In the words of the great singer/songwriter Johnny Cash, you need to “get rhythm when you get the blues.”

Many people have the blues today because they don’t have proper rhythm.

Consider being a part of 21 Days and watch how God will restore your rhythm and joy!
